Where is Patagonia?
With a surface area of approximately 800,000 square kilometers, the region known as Patagonia encompasses the southern cone of South America (including parts of both Chile and Argentina). On the Chilean side, it begins south of the city of Puerto Montt. In Argentina, it begins south of the Colorado River. Patagonia ends in Tierra del Fuego, where Cape Horn is located.

Will my donation be tax-deductible?
TPF is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and all donations to TPF are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

How is TPF related to Patagonia, Inc., the clothing company?
TPF and Patagonia, Inc. are wholly separate entities. However, Patagonia, Inc. has generously supported TPF in the past.

How is TPF related to Fundación Patagonia?
TPF and Fundación Patagonia are completely separate organizations. TPF is a 501(c)(3) based in the United States working throughout Patagonia. Fundación Patagonia is a Chilean organization based in Puerto Natales. Although separate entities, TPF and Fundación Patagonia worked together on The Patagonia Project in Torres del Paine National Park.
